Benchmark math
NYSERDA's latest surveyed Long Island residential propane benchmark is $4.339 per gallon for July 2026. Long Island combines Nassau and Suffolk counties, and NYSERDA notes that its full-service residential credit-price accounts typically use about 1,100 gallons or more per year. It is a regional benchmark, not a guaranteed quote for a specific home.
If you simply multiply 100 gallons by the July 2026 benchmark, the result is $433.90. That is a math example, not a promise that a Suffolk dealer will quote 100 gallons at the benchmark rate.

Best way to get a real number
Give local providers your ZIP code, approximate tank size, current tank level, tank ownership and delivery urgency. That produces a much more useful comparison than multiplying a regional average by 100 gallons.
